Our History:
has 50 years experience providing construction, remediation, and emergency services to communities in Southern California as well as property insurance consulting and estimating services across the United States. Our goal is to make your home or space livable and workable once again.
started as HomeMasters, Inc in the year 2000 as a repair company servicing the residential home building industry. In the first couple of years, our primary business expertise was repairing cabinetry, flooring and other wood products throughout the home using pigments to match the grain and base colors contained in the wood. We also repaired fiberglass and cultured marble products using fillers and airbrush techniques to make the repairs invisible.

This work included drywall patching, framing repairs, painting, finish carpentry, appliance installation as well as the installation of plumbing and electrical fixtures. During this time, XBI developed a solid reputation for the highest quality service and workmanship in the industry.
took its repair skills to the insurance industry in 2003 and became a preferred contractor for one of the largest insurance carriers in the United States. XBI provided high-quality repairs related to water, mold, and fire damage for decades for the largest carriers in the property insurance market. We continued to perform very well as a vendor to insurance customers across the United States.
In addition to providing general contracting and reconstruction services, XBI has provided adjusting and estimating services to insurance carriers across the country involving losses resulting from hurricanes, tornados, fire, hail, wind, water, vandalism, and theft. We have worked hundreds of claims for Hurricane Sandy and recent events such as Hurricane Matthew and flooding in Baton Rouge. We have participated in several CAT events as well as daily claims.
Because of Xactimate’s construction and adjusting background, there is no other company that can offer the depth of experience in providing reconstruction services or advising you on your insurance claim work. Over the years we have learned all the skills to perform property repairs, write estimates, and negotiate claims, to repair your investments and you the most for your claim. Most importantly we have learned that the most important aspect of our services is integrity which is the foundation of all we do.
